Hot Docs 2016

Anyone been going to Hot Docs? This year I've seen 3 films so far: City 40, A Revolution in Four Seasons and Migrant Dreams. Enjoyed them all.

Off the Rails
How to Build a Time Machine
When Two Worlds Collide

I saw "a dog's life" or "chienne de vie".

It was incredibly moving.

I saw Strike A Pose, Weiner, The Slippers, Ants On A Shrimp, and Obit. Hot Docs was really good this year.

This was my first time at Hot Docs, but wow that movie Off the Rails was very well done. Who else here watched it?

I loved Off the Rails! I think it was my favorite (hopefully it'll run at the Bloor or Lightbox very soon). Though really pretty much everything I saw was excellent.

I had more free time this year than usual so I ended up going to more films than usual. Also caught the film about Norman Lear and Whose Country? (about Egypt). Whose Country? was the only disappointment for me.

Did anyone see 'Constantine'? Looked fascinating and I'm wondering whether to shell out and buy the DVD or stream it. Thanks!

"Tickled" was a real highlight for me. It's being distributed by HBO so I'm sure there it will be open to wider viewing soon.
