The province is widening a section of Highway 400 to make room for future HOV lanes while also rebuilding the King Road interchange. Work on the highway will take place in both directions from 1.1km south to 1.6km north of King Road and will be complete by 2010. The commuter parking lot located in the SE portion of the interchange will be moved to the NE portion, with space reserved for a future GO Transit bus bay. Total costs are $35-million.
