When did electrification to Bramalea get dropped?

I had seen it on previous maps/previous study maps.

Good catch. It wasn't on the previous Missions chart from last November.

Pretty sure it was on the plan until recently.

I will be charitable and assume that the chart is a work in progress - but - This is the kind of quiet scope shift that in the past was a quite deliberate and sneaky ML business as usual.

Would you have the link for that? Probably should be downloaded/screenshoted in case it's taken down.

There were lots of things quietly revealed in those documents from November. Another one is the elimination of hourly off-peak service to Barrie, even though (as you can see in this diagram) they're still planning to build all the infrastructure required for hourly service since they still need it during peak periods.

Just for completeness - the two mission chart editions are in the ML Board Meeting docs

Nov 27 2025 version
Feb 12 2026 version

There's only so much that can fit on a chart, but further things I noticed

- Fourth Track Nickle to Humberview is shown as complete however signals have not been cut in and not a single train has ever used this track
- No mention of Randolph access to Bloor station, nor connection to the Dundas West TTC station
- No mention of Danforth Station, which is a prerequisite to opening the 4th track east to Scarboro Jct and will possibly lead to 2-track operation for a time east of Danforth interlocking (EDIT: These are on the map page, but not the mission page)

Speaking of sudden omissions, I had thought I saw yesterday that there was a written quarterly report on both GO and Rapid transit under the Quarterly Report sections of the agenda.... but when I went to download them just now, they have disappeareed.

Was I imagining things?

theyre still there for me

The glossy presentations are there, yes, but in the past there was also a written writeup, that's what I thought I saw yesterday.

I had similar thoughts. My interpretation is the long form written reports seem have been consolidated into the second half of the slide deck and transitioned to bullet form updates on projects.
