A sad day for cyclists in Toronto and across Ontario. Bill 60 - which prohibits the conversion of motor vehicle lanes to bike lanes (or any other prescribed purpose) - has passed Third Reading this morning. Such a move would kill various cycling projects including Dupont, Danforth (Victoria Park to Kingston Road), and Parkside in Toronto, Bloor in Mississauga, and countless others across the province.
A controversial housing bill by Premier Doug Ford's government is coming up for a final vote in the Ontario legislature on Monday.
