Common in Taiwan as you don't put garbage on the curb in advance. Truck stops regularly and you deposit your trash into it directly.

I like this approach in NL for things like townhouse complexes. Wheelie bins are not very practical for the tight private drives, and they take up a lot of room. Not everyone has appropriate outdoor storage.

Walt Disney world uses something like that in the Magic Kingdom although they do sort through garbage just in case a guest item that shouldn't be there is taken out before it is dumped.
