Finch West Line 6 LRT

Part of that was because when the TTC wanted to do it, the contractor building the line was refusing access to the TTC because they were trying to sue Metrolinks, so they could pick an operator instead of having the TTC be named it by Metrolinks
Hey, they might run faster trains if they did so.

Hold on a minute, did they forget who owns the line? Do these pesky garbage contractors actually think they can hold the public ransom?

So more money related bullshit.....typical

Wow... seriously?

Why was this even a topic of discussion for the contractors...

I know they werent happy with ttc checking their work or whatever, but to try and then replace them as operator seems a step too far to me.

Took a trip to Line 6 today to shoot a video of the line from end to end but the filming stop ome minute after I started the trip from Hwy 27 to Keele and did not noticed it had stop recoding. Had no issues with videos that were just shot before and after this run and will have to do it again.

Not sure what schedule TTC was using, but it was all over the place based on the LRV's on the line as well the next vehicle time..

The amount of construction barriers along the route at this stage is unreal but it shouldn't have any impact for the line opening in December, Cycles still out of luck trying to use their lanes. No work on the CPKC bridge undepass yet, Not sure if the roadwork on the road that pass the OMSF is effecting outbound cars from the yard to the point they may have to exit the yard by the in bound tracks.

That happens to me all the time! I suspect I'm double clicking the start button, or hitting it while holding the camera. I'll bet expensive cameras have better controls, so this doesn't happen.

Right now they aren’t adhering to any schedule as they are getting in one more class of trainees before opening. As for the real-time displays they aren’t hooked into the real-time system yet as the vehicles aren’t either. So for now they are using a test dataset.

This is the 2nd day shooting videos with Canon R7 that was on top of the dashboad. I hit the record button like all the other ones I shot and fail to check it as I drove east. .I got one minute of video out of the 15 minute trip. Its way better than the Mark II and the P950. If I could get parts for the Sony 400V, would continue to use it not only for videos but photographing since it has a 50 zoom.

Line 5 was showing schedule arrival time that keep jumping a minute per station I pass which is normal and then jump 10 minute for the last batch for some unknown reason.

What I saw along Finch, December 7 most likey not be the date but who knows beyond the tower people what the real date is? Don't bet on any ML LRT lines as they are a chap shot. Nearly all of Hurontario LRT dates haven't been met so far Saw 2 signs today before heading to the east end that said 2 intersections were to be close Nov 21 to the 28 that were not there Friday and all signs were turn off as I head home 8 hours later. If it said Nov 21 to Dec 21 it would have mean the guideway was being built for the intersections but for one week, at a lost what was to take place.
