No, DSC. The St. Theresa Shrine of the Little Flower is on the diagonally opposite corner.
This 2011 photo shows the Post Office building that replaced the Half Way House.
The PO has since become home to a "fitness" business.
Note the mural (at left) depicting the original site.

Bakery flourished for almost a century. Employees of Scanion's Bakery, on Yonge St. in downtown Aurora, pose proudly beside polished trucks — and one horse-drawn wagon — in the mid-1930s. Scanion's flourished from the 1880s to the early 1960s and even ran a chain of bakery shops on Yonge St. as far as St. Clair Ave. during World War II. The bake ovens, where all the baking was done, still stand behind the shop in one of Aurora's oldest buildings. It is now a wholesale outlet for restaurant supplies. Many Metro families used to stop at Scanion's for a treat on the way to the cottage.
