e-Dentity: not your run-of-the-mill Mirvish production

I believe my 20-something generation could completely relate to what is presenting on stage. Chat rooms, webcams, and online relationships!

I loved it because many, if not all of the scenarios are either true in my life or someone I know. Especially true, about the online relationships that develops from the internet. I found it amusing that all the friends I was with that evening, all were developed through the internet.

I would imagine that maybe someone who is older and maybe not as connected to the World Wide Web would not be able to relate and appreciate the humor behind it all.

Paula Citron gave it an excellent review on CFMX the other day. She described it as "brilliant" and said it was as good as the original production. She took aim at the Mirvish subscription audience, which she saw as inherently conservative, concluding that for the most part she was "surrounded by an audience who weren't getting it, or hated it."

That makes some sense to me. I told my parents I thought it was great, but I wondered how much of it they would "get".

It's not so much dependent on age as how computer literate you are.
