Here is the most recent CLC meeting from last week. Tunnel update starts on page 14.What's a realistic timeline for when this tunnel connecting the UPX and Dundas West Stations to actually be open?
It's wild that even official MX photos showcase infrastructure that's covered by graffiti before it's even opened to the publicHere is the most recent CLC meeting from last week. Tunnel update starts on page 14.
Why pay, when its already happening free of charge?they should just pay a team of them to graffiti all those
This would be a great place for a partnership with StreetARToronto. Would make it cohesive, lively, and welcomingthey should just pay a team of them to graffiti all those
Fall 2025 runs to December 21, Winter runs to March 21.. that’s what those terms mean. The high tomorrow is 20 degrees, it’s not 17 days into winterFor the Randolph connection and the 4th track, the contractor is already 6-8 weeks behind the project schedule published on Oct 9th!

We're 17 days into "Winter" 2025 and the pavilion is several weeks from finishing which means the 4th track can't be laid through the station.

I posted this in the GO construction thread already, but I'll post it here too.
The Ernest Ave access to Bloor GO is permanently closing on Nov. 1, to allow for installation work on the 4th Kitchener Line track. Metrolinx says a detour will be in place until the new Randolph entrance opens in early 2026.

First time poster, long time lurker. As a user of the east entrance of Bloor this enraged me given we’re at (almost) 3 years of closure and 2 years overdue. The proposed detour was not acceptable. I wrote a fairly cranky email to Metrolinx and here’s the response:

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the closure of the Ernest Avenue temporary platform access at Bloor GO Station.
Our team is exploring possible alternatives to maintain access on the east side of the station and is working to identify a potential solution that minimizes the impact to the community and customers, while maintaining reasonable construction project timelines and budgets.
At this time, the Ernest Avenue access will remainopen while we continue to assess the situation. We will be sending this information out in our next Newsletter and have removed the Ernest Avenue Closure notice from our website.
Any new information or updates will be shared with the community as soon as they are available.

Crankiness wins this round. I would just like them to wait until the Randolph pavilion reopens, which seems reasonable to me.
Welcome, @camcmull! That is incredibly frustrating regarding the continued closures of the existing Railpath, while we're still in the dark as to when work on the Railpath extension to Abell Street will start. It's been almost six years since the final design was revealed FFS!First time poster, long time lurker.
