Worst reno: The once grand lobby of the former O'Keefe ( now Sony ) Centre. Sure, it fell on hard times - becoming dowdy even before the COC and the National Ballet moved out - but the tacky, garish mess that it has become as a result of the recent renovation is unpardonable.

Sorry to hear that is the case. I haven't seen it yet and was hoping for better.

I really like the inside of the Sony Centre...I thought it was well done

When I popped my head inside the lobby over Christmas - daytime, and there was an event happening, a show of some sort - there were banks of screens straight ahead and to left and to right, all flashing images, and the ceiling was lit with multi-colours, and it was horrendous, like some sort of casino.
