I don't think Toronto is to large. But some people do.
You also have to remember we have a different view on things. Many of us live in the core area of the region(416), we have access to public transit that bypasses traffic, etc.
But many people out in the 905 etc, are complaining that Toronto is to large. Because they are feeling all the effects like traffic, overcrowded schools, etc.
So I don't think Toronto is to large. But at the same time, I don't drive in traffic, etc.
The question is though if all these new people are really making Toronto a better place, or just making more sprawl. If all these people stay out in the 905 and don't come into the core and help build a more diverse city with all different kinds of things, then are they really adding anything to our city, but traffic and sprawl?
I say let Toronto grow. But many people do feel it is to large. Canada is a small country pop wise, so Toronto does feel like a city of 20 million to many Canadians.
