Crackdown on Red Light Running

Try making a left turn at Woodbine and Steeles. Because there is no left hand turn on the other side, there's enough room for 3 vehicles at times to be in the intersection.
I think that the original posters meaning though, is that you shouldn't be in the intersection then, because I think having more than one vehicle turning in the intersection may be prohibited by law.

Not that I expect anyone to obey that. By tradition, two cars in an intersection is normal - and I can see that three might be reasonable. But not necessarily legal.

I'm all for anything that improves the habits of drivers in Toronto or the GTA for that matter. The red light bunch-ups are not only dangerous, but mess up the flow for cars waiting to go on green. Much of the time it kills the point of the advance greens because they are too short and cars have to wait for the two or three cars turning on the reds to clear out.

Now if only more drivers would learn to use their turn signals...
