For some reason, the very light blue does not show up well on my laptop. There is too little contrast with the white background so it is hard to differentiate the space. It works when contrasted with the medium blue inside of threads, but has the washing effect on the thread/topic list pages, where there is no alternation, or alternation with white.

with this new colour scheme when im having a stressful day i can come on here and the colours mellow me down and give me a reason to get up the next morning...:rolleyes lol
but seriously this scheme is alot more calm and i think it looks better.
