Many of you may remember a short while back when a Belorussian group came out with a music video of tilt-shifted Toronto. While I recently came across this video by Hamilton indie group Canadian Winter which has some nice shots of our city. Now I can't say I'm a huge fan of the music itself, but to each his own. Anyway, the video is quite nice so Enjoy!

Musicians often do the best job of presenting Toronto. I enjoy hip hop, and the pride and knowledge of Toronto of some hip hop artists is impressive. I tuned in to Metro 14, the Montreal-based culture channel available on Bell ExpressVu, and found that about 1 in 4 indie music videos were shot in Toronto. Later, I saw some Spanish video shot on the streets of Cabbagetown, where the artist was cruising in a red 1960s Chevy Impala convertible. The city can look so impressive and cool on film.
