No need to buy PCCs - there will be 200+ CLRV and ALRV vehicles available soon. Even if you assume a bunch will be retained for historical/charter, the Eglinton LRT extension to the airport could be served by a bunch of CLRVs (possibly with couplers) and a trolley pole converted to pantograph. Some of the LRVs could be scrapped to ensure a parts inventory and to put a cab at the back for double-ended operation.
This would be a great way of reusing vehicles whose high floors really leave them with no future once the new LRV fleet is in service.
