That's my thinking behind the "Sightings..." thread - a sort of Gawker Stalker, though these things only really work with very recent sightings.

Nah... I'm not really into following celebrities. I kind of want to tell celebrities to carry fire extinguishers when paparazzi swarm them like they do with Britney Spears and now Miley Cyrus.

I'll shoot something if I'm witnessing it and just happen to be there but I won't go around "gawking" at celebrities..lol

Well, an update: this family seems to be completely untouchable in the news media. Everybody loves these photos but none of them have the balls to publish them.

I say just put it online then. You can get money after if any media outlets do pick them up.

Post them online small so that they're not large enough to be published in a paper, with either text or a watermark across it with your contact info.

If you can get a buzz going, demand will follow.

Good point... however, don't they become public domain since it's "news"?

Also, I'd like to remain anonymous in the process so if I'm available for the media to contact me, then I'm available for this person and their powerful family to contact me.. :|

I don't know if it becomes public domain, but that's why you make it too small to print and put your contact info right across the middle. People can see what's going on but they'll have to purchase the high-res versions if they want to print it.

All your contact info needs to be is an e-mail address. You can create one solely for this purpose.

If it's the Mulroney family, or someone with similar national fame, perhaps a UK tabloid might publish it, and give you a few bills?
