Tucker Carlson was fired by CNN after receiving a brutal roasting by Jon Stewart, who was a guest on Carlson's CNN show "Crossfire". He has since turned up on hosting a program on rival newschannel MSNBC. It appears that MSNBC is angling to the political right as it hired Carlson and the conservative Joe Scarborough, trying to emulate the success of Bill O'Reilly on Fox News Channel. I don't think Carlson and his type are going to disappear from the cable news scene any time soon.
