I have seen this at City Hall in New York. It's very cool. I had no idea what it was when I saw it there - interesting to put some background and context around it now.
I first noticed this piece when I was looking out the window of my parents' condo (they live across the street). I think it's very cool, and can't tell you how relieved I am that it's not to be used for advertising.
Lately I had been wondering if Rogers had removed this piece because it wasn't on display but I guess they had had it boarded up because of the construction/repair they have been doing on Bloor St. I noticed today that it was visible and working again.
