I don't think we have any thread for this; so I'm starting one to showcase what I think is a pretty good series of projects by the TRCA in Brampton.

The project(s) are to remediate an existing creek in a concrete-lined channel in a series of Brampton Parks into something more natural with stone, plantings, wetlands etc.

The report is here: https://pub-trca.escribemeetings.com/filestream.ashx?DocumentId=12938

The overall project is broken down into phases/chunks, the first portion is mostly complete, from the report:

Jayfield Park is still wrapping up construction, the landscaping and channel conversion is basically done. I contacted the city of Brampton PM Michael Hoy for the JJJ project since they are still missing a lot of promised infrastructure like exercise equipment shelter in Jordan Park. He claims those are coming next year due to rising costs.

Hey guys this thread got me thinking, there's a lot of stuff happening in Brampton. I noticed Vaughan, Mississauga has their own forum. Brampton's population is about to surpass both and there are many projects happening here. If not a dedicated City of Brampton forum, would it make sense to have a Peel Region forum for both Brampton and Mississauga? Both cities are dead even in population and the region is heavily integrated together and would organize a good chunk of discussion with the high number of Toronto thread in all other forums. The Mississauga forum only gets a dozen threads per year anyway.
Not sure where else to post this, I can't make a new thread in the Forum issues with my account.
