Any indie coffee fans out there?

Was reading on Toronto life about this cool new thing that someone put together.

Looks like they managed to get 24 different coffee places downtown to participate so that for $20 you can get a coffee (up to $5!) at each place. I've been to a few of the places there, big fan of Crema and Manic.

Anyone else heard of this?

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that. I do make a point to go to the indies instead of Starbucks whenever I can, and it's great to live in a city where that's possible. This sounds like an expanded version of Sam James' "Disloyalty Card" - get a stamp from each of various indies around town (from memory, Crema, Manic, Mercury, SJCB, Lit, Dark Horse, and something else) and you get a free coffee. It's not as good a deal, but it does encourage you to check out new places (I wouldn't have gone to Lit, otherwise, b/c it's out of the way for me, but I'm glad I did).
