A Lakeshore Road Journey... (Part II)

Re: A Lakeshore Road Journey... (Part II)

Don't forget another one of them longstanding downtown Burlington cultural cornerstones: A Different Drummer bookstore. (Which has led to Burlington's reputation as a "best-read" community; I think both Chapters and Indigo opened their first outlets here...)

Adma: We don't read much in these parts! Gets in the way o' the banjo playin' ;)

A Different Drummer is a great shop, and a rare haven for bibliophiles. My trailer home is just around the corner.

Everyone: Interesting Burlington and Dundas pics! Is Burlington considered a suburb of both Hamilton and Toronto just like Maryland towns that are between Baltimore and Washington,DC? In both cases they are about 40 miles apart.
Dundas looks like a neat place-the type of old town that I would like to explore. LI MIKE

The Deluxe, Dundas

I can't believe the Deluxe, or at least the sign is still there. I used to go there a hundred years ago after school. Dundas is a real gem.
