if they got rid of the mansard roof and either incorporated a brick or glass façade, the execution would have been a lot better and more representative of a modern design.
 
Ugh, what a botch job. Buddy of mine used to live on the ground floor in the early 80s. We dug out the basement and our garage band jammed down there. It was squalid. Now it's still squalid, albeit with a contemporary carbuncle slapped on.
 
What happened to the brick in the blurry low resolution render? It wouldn't have looked great with the barnacle of a roof clinging to its side but not near as objectionable as this.
 
Found out this is for sale. 1.4million dollars. And it looks like they got a deal on leftover condo glass from a highrise somewhere.

I don't think the latest picture is close to being finished. The black areas are the substrate for what I assume will be the brick
