Via a report to next week's TTC meeting seeking to declare the above property surplus, we know it will be in play for redevelopment by CreateTO.
The site is currently operated as a 5-storey Green P parkade, but is on TTC owned land, built atop the Line 1 Tunnel Structure.
This site is ~3000m2 or about 33000ft2 - one tower is easy, there is potential for 2, however, this site is hemmed in by other buildings/applications.
I would expect something significant here in total units/height. Literally, directly across the street from St. Clair Station, I would hope for zero resident parking here.
Especially true given the tunnel structure below!
@HousingNowTO will want to follow this one as it should be expected to provide substantial affordable housing.
