Development application submitted and under review for a new low-rise subdivision on Build Toronto lands just east of Kipling and Eglinton:
Proposal to construct an eight block, 3-storey townhouse development containing 71 units. A new public street (extending through the middle of the site) from Kipling Avenue to Eglinton Avenue West, is also being proposed. See Folder 13 144569 WET 04 OZ for related rezoning application and Folder 13 228429 WET 04 SB for related subdivision application.

Build Toronto sought out development proposals for a high/mid-rise project with these marketing materials.

Kind of a disappointment but its good to see intensification in underused open spaces, namely the old Eglinton Expressway ROW

This site is now proposed to be a retirement community called Parkland Eglinton. The developer is Shannex.

4650 EGLINTON AVE W
Ward 04 - Etob. York District

Architecturally, I am not surprised that this is a senior's residence. Looks like a ski resort to me.

Although the pic is not up to much, this is to record that construction for this has gotten underway:

Drove by this today and it really stood out to me. I didnt get any photos cuz I didnt even know it existed, but I thought this looked really nice and well done.

This is the best looking development this stretch of Eglinton will see by a country mile, and it's not even close.
