Who do they think will be leasing the new retail space in this economic environment? There will be tons of retail space on available on the market in the coming months unfortunately.

If the want to go blow their money, by all means they can go ahead but they dont have to ruin a perfectly good streetscape in the process.

I wouldn’t call the existing ground floor problem free - it’s a grander entrance for sure but it’s fairly sterile and offers a blank wall to Adelaide. Plus accessibility issues.

not like the new version makes any of that any better really.
