1507 Avenue Road

Zoned as Commercial-Residential, right on the northeast corner of Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue West. This is an old Mac's that went belly up some time ago, and has stayed vacant for some time. Drove by yesterday, and there's fencing up, and the windows are now boarded up. No applications in the AppDev site, just wondering if it's just renovating for some kind of store in the existing building, or if there's investigations going on.

This will be a new Starbucks location opening in February. Redevelopment will be longer term I'd assume.

They were drilling as part of the ESA phase II for at least two weeks.

Yup, the Tempbucks had been rumoured for a while in the neighbourhood. Give me my Mac's back though.

I am not sure, but I think First Capital has everything on the block north other than the vet clinic. The Starbucks is a placeholder for a few years I would bet.

The exterior is being stripped away this week. Seems like this is moving along

Driving by today they were ripping up the parking lot and the interior had been boarded up with a new entrance or two.

Starbucks signage has since been joined by a sign for Fancy Franks.

A concrete patio has been added to the south side for the Starbucks, plus the Fancy Frank's sign to the north.
