And yet, those flat-topped rows opposite the end of Davenport represent the kind of primeval working-class "ugliness" that *could* have lots of potential (except for being amidst heavy traffic)

Perhaps they have potential, but they look like the worst of the worst from their era.

Excellent retrofit of the Carleton Village school building. The new addition is also beautifully lit up at night. A bit hard to believe I once played baseball here at summer in the former school's diamond, lol.

TPS 14 Division, at 305 Dovercourt Rd, is another handsome new station.

Old Weston Road is screaming for modernization.The damn flea market been there for ages wonder why the owner doesnt sell to a developer.

11 Division, Toronto Police Services has won the PUG 2013 Paul Oberman Award for adaptive reuse and heritage restoration.

…as well as winning the 2013 PUG Peoples' Choice Award for favourite Commercial/Institutional building. Stantec did do a great job on this and 14 Division (which came in second!).
