relatively mundane application to convert ground floor to commercial uses. Problem is, it proposes to stick a window in the middle of the "you've changed" artwork on the side of the building. That art needs to be preserved.

Problem is, it proposes to stick a window in the middle of the "you've changed" artwork on the side of the building. That art needs to be preserved.

It sets a pretty low bar for what constitutes art. I had to google it to find out that it even was art. It's just to words painted on the side of a building. Not worth caring about.

It's a pretty popular piece in the area. Art doesn't have to be expensive to be impactful..

That said, if you are going to destroy it like this, at least properly remove it, don't take out a chunk of it for a window but leave the rest of it up.
