    Hamilton Television City | 110.14m | 32s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

Pretty sure a lot of that chance was complaints from Council/ locals. Developers wanted the initial design with the glass and big pillars bit the podium "didn't suit the neighborhood"

    Hamilton The Point | 19.25m | 6s | Yoke Group | Lintack

Glass is better than I was expecting tbh
  3. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton 204-210 Gage Avenue North | ?m | 6s | Sacajawea | Invizij Architects

Already way different and worse than the render -- the large glass "lobby" area, first floor right side, seems to me missing in real life... I'm gonna bet the curved balconies won't make the cut either and this will end up as a plain, ugly box
  4. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton Television City | 110.14m | 32s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

I'm thinking these are going to look great when finished
  5. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton Sage Smart Towns | ?m | 9s | Elite Developments

There's a proposed 9 story residential building in addition to townhomes
  6. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton 861 Highway 8 LTC | ?m | 6s | KSCO Holdings

This is an LTC though, not a retirement home. "a residential facility providing 24/7 supervised care, nursing services, and support with daily activities for individuals with significant health challenges or cognitive impairments who can no longer live independently. They provide a safe, secure...

    Hamilton 861 Highway 8 LTC | ?m | 6s | KSCO Holdings

Hard to judge without knowing the interior and quality of care TBH

    Hamilton Eastgate Square (Block 6) | 75.75m | 20s | Harrison Equity | BDP Quadrangle

I mean, the actual (detailed) render doesn't have them. Only the "Master Plan" does
  9. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton Tivoli Condos | ?m | 35s | Aventus | +VG

    My memory was correct*
  10. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton Tivoli Condos | ?m | 35s | Aventus | +VG

I could be wrong, but isn't that plaza already owned by them and proposed to be part of the new development?
  11. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

It really is the ideal spot in the city to go with height / build a signature tower for Hamilton
  12. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

Isn't LiUNA involved with 46-48 Ferguson Avenue South which is just starting construction?
  13. Hawrylyshyn

    Guelph 70 Fountain Street East | 87.83m | 25s | Fitzrovia | Hariri Pontarini

24 floors (20 tower on 4 podium), 424 rental units and 95 parking space. Owned by Conestoga College so will (likely) be geared for students (205 studio units, 69 one-bedroom units, 85 two-bedroom units, 60 three-bedroom units and five townhouses in the podium space) -- much better design IMO
  14. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton The Design District 41 | ?m | 31s | Emblem Developments | Arcadis

I mean, there are already quite a few proposed in the immediate area. Looks out of place now but (hopefully) in the near future it won't be.
  15. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton TD Coliseum Renovations | ?m | 4s | OVG | BBB

Would definitely recommend attending a game - even just one for the experience! Overall I found it very similar to hockey without the puck and ice. Overall a fun, and relatively affordable, night out
  16. Hawrylyshyn

    London 550 Ridout Street North | 98.91m | 31s | York | PDT Arch

Adding my 2 cents -- I'm pretty much only on UT for projects that AREN'T Toronto. The threads with the "Toronto" tag I essentially ignore 🤷‍♂️ give me those projects from London, Hamilton, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Burlington, Guelph, St. Catharine's, Niagara Falls....
  17. Hawrylyshyn

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

It's also Vrancor so expectations for quality need to be kept minimal
