    Hamilton The Design District 41 | ?m | 31s | Emblem Developments | Arcadis

Interesting. Someone replied to this video on Instagram with a question about expected completion date. Emblem responded by saying that Towers A and B would be open for occupancy in late 2026 (or something like that), but that response has since been deleted.

    Hamilton 117 Jackson Street East | 126.47m | 39s | Dicenzo Homes | Graziani + Corazza

Would be cool, but the market is not demanding anything multi-story right now.

    Hamilton Lime Ridge Mall Intensification (Phase 1) | ?m | 12s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

There is a bit of a leap in your logic, but sure.

    Hamilton Lime Ridge Mall Intensification (Phase 1) | ?m | 12s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

I guess they meant showroom + service centre. The whole deal is 60,000 square feet. It is the biggest in Canada for now, but in a year or two, Vancouver is going to have one that is about double the size.

    Hamilton 77 James Street North | 93.1m | 30s | IN8 Developments | AAA

It really is a shame that this building failed. Also, too bad they couldn't have just found a way to keep it open while the future development stuff is worked out.

    Hamilton 77 James Street North | 93.1m | 30s | IN8 Developments | AAA

This is pretty much the city's focal point. Hamilton needs some kind of miracle money to create a centrepiece attraction here. Some kind of retail or service or tourist thing or something. Not a bunch of horrible condos. The good/bad news is that it is super unlikely that the crappy condos will...

    Hamilton Eastgate Square Redevelopment | ?m | 20s | Harrison Equity | BDP Quadrangle

Yeah, I only cheer for development when it boosts the possibility of adding new services for community use (or at least maintaining existing ones), not when it comes at the expense of them.

    Hamilton Eastgate Square Redevelopment | ?m | 20s | Harrison Equity | BDP Quadrangle

Agreed. You would hope that some critical mass would be picked up at some point. While a bunch of new homes would help out the city's tax base, a proper shopping centre has much more utility to me (and I hazard to say all of us from a community aspect) than does a bunch of residences. And a...

    Hamilton Eastgate Square Redevelopment | ?m | 20s | Harrison Equity | BDP Quadrangle

Hope springs eternal. The mall is a community centre of sorts and I would much prefer the current setup with a contiguous building that includes a food court.

    Hamilton Eastgate Square Redevelopment | ?m | 20s | Harrison Equity | BDP Quadrangle

I really don't want to see the mall downsized

    Hamilton 125 Napier Street | 95m | 31s | Vrancor Development | NEUF

The above article says two buildings with 39 and 41 stories. Is it incorrect?

    Hamilton Juravinski Hospital Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Hamilton Health Sciences | HDR

These renovations do not go that close to the edge (although the existing emergency room at the east end is pretty close). have to hope that the engineers involved know what they are doing.

    Hamilton Juravinski Hospital Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Hamilton Health Sciences | HDR

I believe that part actually opened in 1932 and was not part of the hospital at opening in 1917. Old and medical facilities usually do not go well together. Time to modernize.

    Hamilton Gore Park Condos | 106.9m | 32s | HBSC | KNYMH

True. I did mean ineptitude of Hamilton as an overall entity as opposed to just the City of Hamilton administration.

    Hamilton Gore Park Condos | 106.9m | 32s | HBSC | KNYMH

If that happens, it will be a horrible symbol of Hamilton's ineptitude.

    Hamilton Gore Park Condos | 106.9m | 32s | HBSC | KNYMH

So a big part of the centre of Hamilton is now a pile of dirt. I guess three general things can happen: 1) It sits as dirt for many years. 2) It does not sit as dirt for too many years and something crappy gets built. 3) Someone influential takes the reins and it does not sit as dirt for too...

I am confident that they can find another spot with space if need be.

    Hamilton FirstOntario Centre Renovations | ?m | 4s | OVG | BBB

Nice pics. Maybe its next name will be the SecondOntario Centre.

    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

Yes. Many times in many places. And your mileage may vary. And I still think it is okay to not like homelessness and like McDonald's at the same time. Maybe it's difficult to get the perfect scenario in place, but one can dream. And my point still holds that the lack of name brands in downtown...
