So the plans for a condo tower are cancelled??

I think your biggest concern would be if the building was actually looked as in the proposed drawings…that is what we need to fight…if they built a different attractive building, it may not be so bad for you….

When there is a board of directors at 75 The Esplanade, they will need to discuss what can be done about the re-development on the 45the esplanade to ensure it does not negatively impact the building. Do not worry too much though, the value of your unit is mainly in the location.

So many movies and commercials have been filmed with it in the background…this is the nicest building on the Esplanade...even the inside of the hotel is very nice architecturally

I wish they could keep the existing building as a podium or ground floor…it’s loved by many in the neighborhood

We citizens need to start a campaign to save the Novotel building from demolition and to stop this Trump tower look alike from taking its place…the new building should preserve the Novotel at its street level…

I hope the Developer is teasing us and the renderings are just a joke….Developer: if you are reading this, you are in old town T.O….not in Vegas!! this does not go in the neighborhood and especially in between the existing buildings..

The neighborhood is putting up a big fight against this idea…

Overall I think it’s a very nice building…it’s also got a really nice vibe on the inside…(despite not being finished)

running the fan continuously is good as it prevents mould forming in the unit and help maintain fresh air supply…if it’s too loud maybe report it to builder…

Are there supposed to be trees on the sidewalk? The last time I passed by there did not seem to be any plans for trees judging by how the poured the concrete….but I hope I am wrong

What you find in Metro is not the same as what they have in their bakeries…try visiting them if you are ever in Montreal…you will know what I am talking about🙂

I agree. But the best bread I had outside Europe was at Premiere Moisson. Unfortunately they only operate in Quebec. I heard they were purchased by Metro and so hopefully they bring them here.

We could have something more inspiring than the market bakery…good bakeries are difficult to come by in Toronto, and will prove very successful when they arrive

This neighborhood is missing a nice high quality bakery…with a nice patio where you can have your cappuccino while eating your croissant😋….would be very profitable
