I might be wrong but I think $9M is just the phase one contribution from the city. The total project seems to be 80% funded by the city ($26M in total).

I don't mean to derail the thread or be especially hard on the poster but I think some of the photos in question were taken unnecessarily close to the workers who were on site, particularly when there are so few people around in the shots that it looks like it would be easy to avoid capturing...

First post here, and sorry if this is off-topic, but is the dislike for balconies on this forum mostly due to the way they look? When I lived in a condo I used mine frequently throughout the warmer months. I understand they are generally an eyesore but I personally think they greatly improve...
