I think we have an opportunity to justify building a line 7 subway in toronto, ensuring that through this line we build transit-oriented communities (something scarborough needs more of). I am not sure a BRT would be enough alone capacity wise if we were also going to go the urbanism route.

With the fiasco with Line 6, what do you guys expect might happen to this line? Will the TTC be pushed to build a subway? BRT? Elevated LRT line? What do you guys think.

I'm just so happy we are starting to have these conversations about signal priority for LRT...AND Streetcars. Never would have thought we'd be able to make enough noise for this but here we are with council and the mayor flagging it.

I was talking about on the TTC map on the line 1 trains. For example line 4 and line 2 light up briefly when reaching interchange stations, do finch and eglinton lines not have lights on the map?

Question - why don't the finch west line's lights blink on the map when you reach finch west station on line 1?

How? We haven't even seen any renderings of what the buildings will look like.. or have we? Are the photos we see of the hangar district going to be what the final designs are?

God what a beautiful map, but I hope the midtown line branches to Oshawa via Malvern town centre (which is currently underserved by transit).
