I’m just curious what they could even fill the spaces with. 2 levels of Sears and 3 levels of HBC now vacant. Move the outdoor stores inside? Tear down those giant box store spaces? Cineplex retrofit one of them for themselves and tear down the current Cineplex?

Cineplex once had a plan to build a new theatre which included some VIP screens in the parking lot outside the current ikea, then that fizzled when the 3 stop subway came back to life.

IKEA is now closing down. Decathlon is gone. HBC is gone. Cineplex is aging. Could be beginning of the end for STC as a mall.
