The 2008 look is so unique and sophisticated. You are on point, this is why I'm against development for the sake of development. The skyline should have been planned like it is in London. Sadly it looks like a city from South Korea at this point.
Forget the design, it's an outrage that a "building" of this height is sitting right next to the core of the country's financial hub. Then the lazy bureaucrats wonder why we have a housing shortage. This style could have solved it all, but alas we remain a "city" with a heart of a suburb...
Mid-rises in downtown are simply not profitable for business, we might see a few like KING but high-rises are still going to be the norm. It all comes down to what makes financial sense.
Yeah I was watching a video about the development in London and it's great to see how all the buildings complement their surroundings and work fantastically together, we need more of that. I especially love the Gherkin's design, it's more efficient than a normal skyscraper as well.
This building reminds me of how many creative shapes there actually are for buildings, It kinda looks like the cousin of the walkie talkie from London. Would love to see more unique designs in our city.
