I am a little confused on the connection at Don Valley - the OL station seems to be on the south side of the Science Center building, while the existing line 5 LRT's Don Valley station is all the way on the north end - is there going to be an underground connection between these stations? I hope...

They should have used the blue, which is used in so many maps of the line; blue is available, while purple is similar to line 4

so from the rendering, it seems like the colour of the line will be a light purple instead of light blue? yet the trains have a blue strip design to them

Shame it doesn't keep going up until the angled columns meet at a single point, probably would be around the 375m - 400m mark

the lack of marketing or celebration events makes me think they are anticipating dispointment and so they don't want to hype it up

Took a closer look today - excavation equipment is present on the site and there is also a porta-potty and mobile site office/trailer - we may see construction start soon

Looking at videos of the protests on Young street today I noticed that there appears to be construction equipment on this site

you can check the urban Toronto map for nearby proposals - nothing is proposed yet on the plaza with the hmart at the moment, but I imagine that one day when the area is more filled in it would probably be developed into condos that will probably be taller than 22 stories

probably decent view there, neighbouring building is only 13 I believe - but there will probably be taller buildings built near this within the next 10 years

Pinnacle is a huge company which has built a lot of luxury residential and hotel projects in Toronto and Vancouver in their 40 years of existing, I am sure they have more than enough money to fully finance projects while holding back units to sell for larger profits at a later time
