    Toronto Pinnacle Lakeside Phase 2 | 147.6m | 43s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I hope with these monster projects going up with Pinnacle & East Harbour etc that they are taking into consideration the ground floor retail, the walk ability of these projects to not just make monster buildings with no life down below.

Thanks for the answers, it makes sense if what is manufactured determines if the structure is going to stand or not. I just thought the passion from the architect and owners is what is missing in Toronto, I have heard it from numerous people on this site about how much better Toronto could be if...

Can someone explain to me why Montreal was able to maintain the Molson building and keep it with history but yet Toronto on this project was not able to. Once again Toronto not willing to keep its history within architecture. Montreal project not make 65 story towers either but yet we have to...

In that picture does that show downtown, midtown, uptown, is that what that is showing?

Why can't we just make more islands and make a connection to the islands that is more than just a tunnel to an airport or a ferry. Not everytime do I feel like waiting in line for hours for a ferry ride to the islands, or pay more for a water taxi. I think a bridge to the islands is the answer here.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Excellent photos. But damm that downtown skyline needs some colour and more style. So blah... Impressive in size but not much else.

Toronto Woodbine Racetrack Ancillary Facilities Building | 14.5m | 2s | Woodbine Ent | DIALOG

What an absolute brutal design for the Casino, this looks like something from cold war Russia. The architect firm should be ashamed of themselves. And please can they remove the words “Great Canadian” because this is anything but. The Montreal casino was built how long ago and 10 times better...

I didn't realize the islands were for only the residents that live there to decide on what is done. For Toronto to of allowed them this life for all these years is crazy. Islands for all should be the slogan.

Why does the downtown seem so close in the photo, it's quite a distance from North York is it not?

That riverdale park vantage point seems to be very popular to take in views of downtown. They should reno that park to make it a real nice spot to take in the views, I don't believe there are to many spots like this in town to really take in the view for free. A tall lookout or some kind of...

No pictures of the west plug being dismantled?

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

This project definatley has the opportunity to become one of the best spots in the GTA, with the mix of stores and the walkability of the project is very exciting. We need more of this, instead of the monster condos that offer very little at the base of the buildings.

Why do we need another observation deck when we have the CN Tower and especially in the Portlands area, shocking really and I can't believe there is not more uproar over this and to replace the Ferris Wheel. Just when I think we are moving forward we move 2 steps back.

Any more pictures taken on the west plug, being torn down. Should be pretty close you would think to opening completely on that side facing the lake.

Can't wait for that stretch of the boardwalk to be completed, it has been to long. And that Slip to finally start construction to connect to the new Portlands. Then we can finally say we have a half descent waterfront walkway.

Work needs to still be done under the yellow bridge yet there is already a lot of water there, that might be a challenge to complete it.

Who designed that monster of a building? You can't tell me that is what they hope brings in crowds. Lost opportunity on that casino, that designer should be embarrased.

Absolutley wonderful project, does Toronto have anything else that even compares to this even somewhat, I would have to think not. I hope this sets the bar high now for other developers to follow because this place is almost shocking to see in Toronto. With this project and many other's like...
