So where do we put music venues? Where are people going to go for entertainment? If a large club can't work in the middle of nowhere, where can it work? Re-development in this area is not exactly right around the corner. Should we abandon the area and leave it empty while we wait for this...

I was a bit upset over swiss chalet closing! Picked up from there almost once a week since I live close by. As for Aroma close by...The fact they close early every weekday and don't even open on the weekend at all is a bit disappointing.

But think about the great retail that will be replacing the club! Perhaps a Starbucks? The closest one is a full block away!! Or maybe a pharmacy? Rexall seems to be expanding all over the place... Or wait for it....A bank!!! I have heard that although the owner originally said he was not...

Oh really? I didn't realize that. I used to work in that building for 5 years up until a few months ago, and never walked in to Winners.

What is the timeline from here? Approximately how much time before anything will actually begin?

I still don't understand why it has to be demolished without a proposal even being submitted yet. The idea of walking by a boarded up lot or worse a parking lot for the next few years is depressing. What happens to all the retail next to it? That gets demolished too for nothing while we wait?

When every corner has a starbucks, shoppers, bank and repeat, then yeah...god help us all.

So what retail do we get back? Another Starbucks and shoppers drug mart? Or perhaps a tim hortons?

I recently booked an appointment for late in the day, closer to closing time. When i got there they said they were backed up and wouldn't be able to see me before closing, so I would have to come back the next day... Great service... What a joke.

Grand Re-Opening of Fly is tonight!

Personalized service is great, but their hours make it impossible for me to ever get a chance to experience it. I go to the market maybe once a year, when I happen to be in the area, but if their hours were more convenient, I would go a lot more often! In the end I am stuck going to Loblaws...

Please note both club locations were there long before this building went up...so no complaining about the noise. You should have known you bought a condo next door to a nightclub. Lol
