Interesting that the Ontario news release doesn't even specify the mode, just "transit line." It gives the impression that the provincial and federal governments told the City "Here's $2 billion for transit. Do what you want with it, and if you screw it up, it's on you."

It's supposed to connect directly into the second floor (some details here). That said, the Union Station side has no hole (as of this morning), so the phasing is very different from the Phase 1 bridge.

Strictly speaking, I don't think Cinnabon themselves ever announced anything -- it was Anne Marie Aitkins who mentioned it during a Metrolinx podcast over a year ago. If there's been something confirmed by Cinnabon themselves, I'd love to be wrong! The mystery logo doesn't look very Cinnabon-y...
