I think the problem in this case is that the builder/developer went bankrupt. Who would be responsible for structural deficiencies if this was the case?

My friend’s appraisal came in lower and he had to make up for the difference (~150k). Also looks like some banks won’t even give a mortgage for this project based on his own experience.

I think it’s mid to late summer

Not sure how true this is but rumours are circulating that some people have been trying to get a mortgage and on top of the challenges with a low appraisal some banks aren’t willing to lend on it due to the builder being Aoyuan and their financial difficulties. Not sure why it matters though...

Seems like a long ways off from completion… original occupancy date is October this year.

It's too bad that with COVID that plexiglass makes the concierge desk look cheap. I also don't know what is up with that art piece outside... doesn't seem to fit.

Wow it actually looks good so far. Let's hope it all comes together. It kind of reminds me of TD Tower.
