    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 + GO: Caledonia Station | 11.72m | 2s | Metrolinx | McCallum Sather

Look at these design for the station, it doesn't look complicated it's just a platform, a canopy and a 1 storey elevator. this shouldn't take more than a year to build right???

    Toronto Parliament Slip | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | West 8

Related to this comment, why are silos the one building type that can not be demolished in this city. I personally think they are ugly especially at our waterfront and housing would be a much better use of valuable land.

    Toronto Bike Share

What effect do city councilors have on the pace of bike share expansion in their wards? like do they have a veto on expansion in their wards?

    Toronto BMO Field Renovations | ?m | ?s | MLSE | Gensler

US lost the 2022 bid to Qatar, so they included Canada and Mexico to guarantee they got 2026 since CONCACAF was the confederation that didn't host a world cup for the longest at the time (sorry OFC).

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Well i guess sit's a good thing that the subway doesn't start running for an hour after Finch LRT opens

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Funny thing about opening the line at 7:00am at Finch west is that the first subway train to reaches Finch west at 7:56 a.m on Sunday

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

But this is due to zoning not the transit. the same can be said for the bloor line. if the city allows density anywhere int he city it will be filled by developers. If the city wants to densify allow the Allen it will happen if they change the zoning for the area.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Substantial completion will happen 2 weeks earlier (1 week after RSD) on Eglinton than it did on Finch. So a 2025 opening is still in the cards.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Revenue Service Demonstration (RSD) on the Eglinton Line began on October 7, 2025, so it's been 47 days since the 30 day demonstration began, and 29 days since the resumption of testing on Oct 25. If they restarted RSD on Oct 25 then Nov 24 should be the end of RSD. But Metrolinx claimed they...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Finch West was already the busiest bus route in the city. attractive riders wouldn't be a problem with this lines. Weston to Jane is where car traffic is a problem so the LRT will blow past cars at this section.

Zoning is what determines density in Toronto not Transit.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Transit didn't cause the density you speak of, it was rezoning that caused the density. just look at Bloor street to see that transit alone doesn't cause density as it's illegal to built denser on Bloor. Anywhere in the city that is zoned for density will get it. it has nothing to do with transit.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

They have the notwithstanding clause so it doesn't matter if they win or not.

    Bad news for bike lanes.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Will Eglinton also require additional operator training after revenue service demonstration, if no it still might open before finch.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

In what way are the platforms not ready for 90m trains? in any case for users it better to have more frequent 60m trains than fewer 90m trains. I don't think capacity will be an issue on the line long term because we can always add more trains.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

We tried but the province cancelled it and buried the work that had been started. So it was either LRT or nothing

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

During game play we can project a blue sky without the sun and between innings go wild with the animations.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

I was thinking about the las vegas sphere, and wondering if the inside roof of the rogers centre could be turned into something similar. You could project a blue sky on to it and call this feature a skydome. Having this feature to display anything during a game would make the Rogers centre the...
