Agreed, the cost to extend all stops is not trivial. Especially if the center platform stops haven't been designed to allow for expansion without moving the tracks to allow for the extension. Like @Amare mentioned, frequency will be maximized before any plans of coupling two vehicles comes up.

Took a walk around the building and got these pics today: I was saddened by the removal of these trees. Some were also concreted over. Why bother planting if you're going to cut them a couple years later!

This picture doesn't seem to show the entrance on the east side of Scarlett. Not sure if that's just the angle of the picture itself. I really hope they don't backpedal on the secondary entrances for these elevated stations! Here's the rendering from Metrolinx page for Scarlett station...

When are the TBMs that will be launched from this shaft be delivered? Seems there's a lot of expedited work being done in preparation for that. It would be very silly if they dig the shaft and then they're simply waiting for the TBMs to arrive.
