Here's a screenshot that was shared on the Pape station thread: The tanks are slurry silos.

"The proposed setback would restrict Metrolinx from pursuing future development opportunities at Keelsedale LRT station". Curious as to this statement. Does that mean that Metrolinx plans on developing a building above the large Keelsedale station entrance box? There are no structural members...

FTFY. Or rather, this is how Metrolinx will fix this glaring error after they realize it when the line opens! Roundel stickers FTW!

Yes, most measurements are to the tallest architectural element of a building rather than the highest accessible roof height. With the Bank of America Tower, the spire is part of the building and is permanent. With FCP, it has antennae which are not permanent and can be removed so they don't...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Agreed, the cost to extend all stops is not trivial. Especially if the center platform stops haven't been designed to allow for expansion without moving the tracks to allow for the extension. Like @Amare mentioned, frequency will be maximized before any plans of coupling two vehicles comes up.

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

The One is built with the open floor plan design principle for the main level with all the load from the building being transferred to the 8 super-columns. This made the super-columns extremely thick. Concord Sky does not have this issue and can hence spread the load across many more columns...

Amazingly silly way to measure heights of buildings. Leads to nonsense like this where the shortest looking building is officially the tallest. The spire of the Bank of America Tower doesn't even connect architecturally with the rest of the tower, it's so stupid! Also, side note, how do I...

    Toronto Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

A few pics of Exhibition station from my visit to CNE yesterday: They've added some base layer to the location where the new centre platform is going to be constructed. It was not there in @kotsy image above from Wednesday!

Fair enough! Which is why, in my head, I had named the Sky Tower transfer slab as MOATS - Mother Of All Transfer Slabs!

Took a walk around the building and got these pics today: I was saddened by the removal of these trees. Some were also concreted over. Why bother planting if you're going to cut them a couple years later!

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

This picture doesn't seem to show the entrance on the east side of Scarlett. Not sure if that's just the angle of the picture itself. I really hope they don't backpedal on the secondary entrances for these elevated stations! Here's the rendering from Metrolinx page for Scarlett station...

When are the TBMs that will be launched from this shaft be delivered? Seems there's a lot of expedited work being done in preparation for that. It would be very silly if they dig the shaft and then they're simply waiting for the TBMs to arrive.
