My thought - this has to be one of the most charitable understatements on Urbantoronto in a very long time (i.e. comparable, if not more so, to how long the work on the north-east corner of Yonge and Eglinton has been going on....)

July 3 - an obvious major push on to complete the Portland Commons project. Large numbers of contractor staff on site, in multiple work locations around the building. The major focus appears to be the ground level perimeter of the building, where a number of landscaping and planting activities...

July 2 - One of the last stages of Maverick's exterior construction activities - rebuild of the King Street sidewalk now underway.

July 2: Occupancy of the north tower has started, been underway for a couple of weeks (south tower occupancy started a while ago). The Widmar sidewalk itself looks to be ready, however work on the townhouse frontage is continuing. Still some missing cladding at the top of the north tower.

July 2 - Building exterior looks complete. The second photo shows a very last touch underway - the protective covers of the Toronto Hydro lines are being removed along the Adelaide Street frontage of the building. Hopefully the final lane closure barriers can then be removed.
