    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

Most recent Public Information Centre (September 28 - October 5) materials now available for download https://www.highway413.ca/consultation/ They note they are developing an interactive map and included a link to a Live Demo. Not sure if anyone has the ability to view or share what is...

    Inclusionary Zoning By-Law

Has anyone taken a detailed look at the assumption that land values will decrease as a result of this policy to ensure that the financials stay viable for developers. I have read the City's peer review study of the original NBLC report, but I am still not sure if this assumption will turn out to...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

That pink arrow doesn't reflect the current proposed corridor route, the discussion about the highway going to Guelph has been dead for nearly 10 years. Its a high level map, even the Brampton/Vaughan portion would actually run north of the purple through the white/green.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I think it is a little disingenuous/unfair that you call what I wrote to be "wild hyperbole". I did not imply that there would need to be "80 storey towers here, there and everywhere" to soley meet those population targets via intensification. I specifically referred to redevelopment of retail...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I have mentioned it here before, but has the issue of land use really been brought up in the political debate about this proposal. Supporting infill as opposed to greenfield development is great but I think the numbers involved really need to be brought up. I've included the quote below by...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I will say reading through everyone recent points that I understand why people are opposed to sprawl and their aspirations with intensifying growth within existing built up areas - however the current planning framework for the region doesn't align with that approach. The current plans stipulate...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I live near the proposed route (property is 20m outside the study area) and I would really like to understand the context for the arguments against the proposal. I by no means support the highway, but haven't be able to fully grasp the nuisances of the opposition crowds points. I will be...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

I think this map is pretty close to what many suspected would be frozen. Crazy to see how large of any area is covered for the 401/407 interchange. Whenever this gets going again the engineers will have their work cut out in designing that.

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Does anyone have any detailed information on the construction work being done on the 401 between Milton and hwy 6? Ive seen that the bridges have been reconstructed with the east and west lanes shifted quite far apart in some sections. I'm aware that widening is scheduled in the long term, is...

    Mississauga Mills Square Condos | ?m | 22s | Pemberton | Graziani + Corazza COMPLETE

I don't think many of the design problems that come with Tower in the Park buildings are going to be prevalent here. The buildings are oriented along the road on plots that aren't very deep compared to many of the T in P designs that we typically think of.

    Mississauga Mills Square Condos | ?m | 22s | Pemberton | Graziani + Corazza COMPLETE

Towers in the park is perfectly fine for along Eglinton here, to get any denser wouldn't make sense for the infrastructure around it. Just look at Eglinton road itself, it is a six lane wide avenue surrounded by strip malls and low density. To think that just by making the developments alongside...
