Would this be be considered as the "missing middle"? It still seems a bit small IMHO but I do like it for what it is.

I cross under the tracks on Jarvis often and it's an awful experience, and does feel incredibly long.

Nope! I like that it's not straight actually. It's not always about how fast you get to the finish line. ;)

I figure the parking lot for some income, but also for the workers to park?

Around 1:45pm today (June 18) - sorry not a great pic but both cranes are up.

I think most people would agree with you. It wouldn't be just the vehicular traffic, but also the noise that might come with the industrial work. For the most part, Sugar Beach is a bit of a exception despite Red Path being right across the street. On the contrary, it's pretty neat seeing the...

The roof is looking good, blending in with the park. :)

Toronto David Crombie Park Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

I thought this was going to be a full redesign, but it looks like a BIG touch up project instead?

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Not to excuse the bad drivers, but when you have so many lights and messaging, maybe it's time to rethink things. I mean: 5 strips of lights 4 signs (with a lot of words) Why is one of the most important sign - the don't go forward if your are non-transit - so far away and not much more...

Walked by yesterday and it looked ready to open. Pretty excited for it to open - not sure what kind of prices to expect though.

Love it! I was thinking of folks in wheelchairs or kids and I'm glad they thought it through.

Considering how epically slow construction moves in TO, I would be surprised if in 2031 we actually had people moving in. Pleasantly surprised, but definitely surprised.

    Toronto events and festivals

A lot of the street food fests do feel very same same, and don't really highlight the culture of the neighbourhood that well. But it would be a shame to lose something like Hot Docs.

I really like that No Frills. I grew up around the area, and I believe it was Food City originally, became Knob Hills Farms, and now No Frills. I feel like I'm missing an iteration. In that plaza, I still miss Consumer Distributors even though they have their wonky catalog system. :)
