I just ate there recently. Damn, I should have ordered the fish and chips. I walked past Harbord Fish and Chips yesterday and was pretty tempted to eat there for lunch, but decided to eat a healthier lunch at Thai Basil instead.

Most of the good non-Cantonese Chinese food I've eaten in Toronto has been in Scarborough and the suburbs. I've had Schezuan, hakka, and uyghur cuisine. The last one is my favorite, very very delicious and the special spices they use give a very unique sensation. Well worth it.

I haven't had an exceptional burger in Toronto yet. The best burger I've had was in Montreal at Hachoir. I've eaten there a couple of times, and each time was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend that place if you go to Montreal.

Agreed, Scarborough is awesome for ethnic food, and many of these places are hole in the wall and you have to really do your research to find them. You definitely need a car for Scarborough as its extremely spread out, but damn its worth it. I live fairly near Scarborough and we love exploring...

Find a rooftop you have to climb up on, and take a few beers up there. Trust me, that's a helluva lot more fun/adventurous than another boring "let's drink at a bar" or "let's eat at a restaurant" date. And cheaper as well.

Yeah, they were filming the new Batman movie in downtown Toronto. I was disappointed that the Batmobile was moving relatively slowly. I was hoping it would blaze by just like in the movies.

If you're in media you're meeting tons of people and essentially have very powerful connections. Being a dealmaker and a middleman can be vastly profitable when introducing two large parties to each other. That's probably why its so tempting to engage in morally dubious deals.
