Noticeable work happening today

I walk by this directly most days - part of what’s exciting about it is the massing. Wide but narrow, a fin of sorts. The materials look good so far.

It has a vintage 60’s vibe. The railings are a nice touch, and full height balcony dividers are nice to see. The colour could be bolder. Even just the mechanical part of the roof. It’s cute, but definitely does not stand out.

Would have taken more but I was being looked at.

Under established trees are not doing great this year in general. Not enough rain.

Hoisting something large right now

Ok yes it’s pretty ugly. I just started noticing it recently on my walks home. It stands out in the urban fabric of the area for using black and brown. So it gets a few points there from me. I’d rather “ugly different” than “ugly standard”
