Those barriers are the worst. They severely impact pedestrian traffic flow during rush hour with people crossing to get to Union station. They just placed them there randomly. I also don't get why there aren't any barriers on the other sides of that intersection since they get just as busy.

Sounds about right. But in all seriousness, was the initial plan to open the York foodcourt at the same time as the Bay Concourse? Is that why they're taking their time? Or is it just the usual incompetent project planning by the city and Metrolinx?

I didn't know they planned to have a rental building as a part of this project. Is this going beside e2 ? Have they begun construction on this building?

^This. The path connection is atrocious. They at least changed the door in the concourse area beside the Real Sports store to have larger glass on it, so at least it is a bit more visible, but the signage is terrible and those stairs suck. The elevator is also in a terrible spot and no one even...

According to Cityzen Developments as per this article in the Toronto Star, the BMU is expected to arrive later this month and be installed in August. They are even saying the derrick crane will be removed by end of summer.

Isn't there supposed to be a new bus terminal in this project to replace the aging one at Dundas? There was no word on that. Hopefully it didn't fall through.
