    So basically the government buys 50% of the 407, and then basically try to sabotage the business? That might not be a terrible idea given we meddle in all sorts of things already, then perhaps the value will tank, and it helps lower the price so they can take back the rest of the lease.

    The 407 station has a big bus terminal, but it'd still take like 45 mins to take the subway downtown from there. From Unionville GO to Union is around the same. Express trains will help a little, but these places you are describing are very far from downtown...

    Wow, this is downright a terrible implementation, lately I've just been paying with Google Pay with a credit card on the account for the last couple of months now, beats doing this plus you don't have to pay $6 for the Presto card to begin with.

    I don't think there was really any significant construction in the last few months on the Stouffville line despite that being the reasoning they used for the cutbacks. It's about time because the GO buses are always really packed and it's a pain in the ass to board them from Union as well...
