Ya, I don't get it. I'm the first person to complain about aA's typical wraparound balcony design, but this is stunning. I love the sleek black look. If executed properly, these really could look like Mies buildings. A balcony-less version of X Condos sounds great to me!

there's no chance this gets rented at this price in this market, especially with no parking 🤣 There are units at U Condos fairly nearby that are larger (2 bed + den) with a private self contained 2 car garage within the parking garage (has garage doors, etc.) for $4200/month

I'm so confused as to what's actually getting built here. Each rendering in the project page shows a completely different building. Will there be balconies everywhere? Is there a white motif? I have no idea. It LOOKS like they're going for the one with the lower balcony count and a non-white...

aA are, IMO, one of the worst architects in the city. Their bland formula of window wall, and wraparound balconies gave us things like Casa I, Casa II, Casa III. This should've been Hariri Pontarini if it had to be a local architect.

So far, the materials here far exceeds what I expected, but I'm preparing myself for the worse when the balconies start

the glass on this one looks to be really high quality/low iron. I know it's window wall based on the installation, but it looks so uniform, I actually thought it might be curtain wall from some angles

I avoid any condo with wrap-around balconies. The clutter, trash, cigarette butts, bird poop is a lot. Not to mention I rarely use the balcony, yet it blocks my view 24/7. Above the ~15th floor, balconies are useless. I'm glad we're getting more curtain wall "floor to ceiling" window buildings...
